Founded in 1855, the time- honored Shunde brand Jun'an Steamed Pork has a history of more than 160 years. In Shunde Jiangwei( renamed Jun'an Town in 1955) area, during every major festival, especially during the Qingming Festival, there is a custom that every young man in the village will receive a piece of pork to worship the ancestors. Since then, this dish has been handed down as a traditional delicacy.
